Who's up for some laning in the snow on Saturday?
The local forecast is giving warnings for potentially disruptive deposits of the white stuff on Saturday, depending on exactly where the two opposing fronts actually meet. The forecast should become more exact by Friday so, if it's going to give us a good dumping, I'll be out for a play following the snow. No planned route just follow the weather. Who's up for it?

Around what area? Never been green laning so would love to go with some of you guys. Depends on wheather I'm working or not too.

Might be persuaded .. depends on a couple of other things so won't say for definite till the night before ... ;)

Still a possibility on the high ground but not to the extent originally forecast. My broadband has packed in at home and BT won't be out to fix it till next week. So, as it's going to be tricky to keep a eye on this thread and update it, tomorrow is canceled for me. I'll sort so.ething for next weekend regardless of weather.

If any one fancies a play this Saturday I'll be setting off from the Yonderman cafe (A623 Wardlow Mi
res) at 10.30. If you wish to sample their wares get there earlier.
Thanks to a display of total incompetance by both BT and Openreach I still have no internet at home so won't have much chance to check back here.

Sadly (or not) we are going on a tour of the Coors factory followed by much beer in Derby so will not be able to make it

Laning this Saturday.
Ok, more heavy snow forecast for Friday and into Saturday, hopefully https://www.facebook.com/Buxton-Weather-Watch-228826103957266/?ref=ts&fref=ts so who's up for a play? Meet at the Yonderman (A623 Wardlow Mires https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Resta...Yonderman_cafe-Buxton_Derbyshire_England.html ) for a 10am get away, get there earlier if you want to sample one of their excellent breakfasts first.
It's likely that the deepest snow will be Buxton way but we'll head wherever the weather takes us.

Aww, damnit. I'm working! The first weekend I have worked in about a year too.

That's a shame, I know you're trying to sell the 90 but an occasional run out wouldn't do it any harm. Drop me a line if you get a free day and we'll have a day out, maybe drag Will out as gate bitch too.

Snow's here :D

Took the long way to walk the dogs, only a couple of inch so far but more forecast over next 24 hours and some gusty winds to make it drift.

Should be a good one tomorrow if anyone can make it.

Right, so after missing loads of trips, I would like to plan a shindig that I can actually get to!

Are there any weekends in April that people fancy going out? Did the Ashbourne routes ever get done?

I can't do week days sadly as my 2016 time off is all accounted for :(

The Ashbourne route did get done and was a cracking day out. Unfortunately some of the routes have got temporary TRO's at the moment due to the sodden ground so that's a route for closer to summer. I'm out on the 10th with this lot http://www.thed2boysclub.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=48383 you may have to create an account to see the thread but it's free. You're welcome to join my group or I'm happy to head out where you fancy later in the month.
