Any chance of a little'un squeezing in on the day?

I know the Fox and have already met David and Sally and we will be staying the week south of Buxton, dunno exactly where mind, and I have a few lanes I want to do later the week, but prefer going in a group !

No sweat if you think there's too many for a group, but it's always nice to meet other LZers .. ;)

wheres everyone travelling from guys,n girls

I'm travelling up from just South of Buxton.

Staying at some pub (in the caravan behind the pub) for a week from friday night .. ;)

:beer2:

Paul D - is it Paul & Julie?
Jim, do you want to drive through Bowzer? If not we can meet at Junction 29.
Stanage Edge is now closed to us so we will have to miss that one.
As Paul Pocketrocket doesn't fancy H-Clough I suggest doing the usuals around Hathersage area.
I will have to leave early as its on the Saturday - have to be at a barby in Chesterfield at 5. Is this ok with everyone?

I wouldn't mind coming along too if nobody would object, I know I'm new to the forum but I've done a fair few lanes around there a few weeks back when I picked up my Disco, but I just went out with the girlfriend and dog, so it'd be good to join a group.

DavidSally, you say Stanage Edge is closed, is that the width restriction I've read of? It was open, and I drove it a few weekends back, when did this come into force?

No problem mate you know the meeting point.

Just to confirm it is fox house, hathersage rd, Longshaw, Sheffield, s11 7ty

As far as I know oggy13 the width restriction is quite new and until jan 13.
Any vehicles over 1.5 metres cannot pass, and there is meant to be width barriers at either end.

Paul and Juliet .. don't forget the t on the end!! We met in North Yorks .. ;)

No worries where we go or when anyone leaves, I just fancy a day out in the Peaks, laning .. ;)

Has Chapelgate been re-opened yet? That's always interesting, and Roych Clough just after it!

I know the place, the lane just up the road was the first green lane my Disco experienced, under my ownership at least!

It's a real shame if Stanage Edge is out of bounds, that was the best lane of the day! (I'd climbed at the Edge many times before, but never had the right vehicle to drive the lane)

When I was up there last, during the latter half of my day I came across the Buxton and District Land Rover Club, unfortunately I had to leave them after tagging along for a couple of lanes, to head home. It'd be nice to have chance to have a chat with some other Landy owners and it sounds like there'll be a few of you meeting, I look forward to it!

Edit: I just checked on GLASS-UK and you're correct. It was the week before the restriction came into force that I drove it! I was lucky!

It'll be good to see you again Paul & Juliet (sorry).
The info above re Stanage Edge is correct.
Chapelgate is still closed but we can do Roych if others are ok with that.
Jim, Fox House is 40 mins from Bowzer/Junction 29. I've heard that Johnygate is driveable but never done it. We will pass it on the way. Add 10 mims if you fancy trying it.
