Hi Guys,

I was replacing the front speakers on my 93 defender 110 when I noticed a wiring hanging loose just behind the driver side speaker. It feeds into the grey plug which connects to the box which I think is for central locking. The code on the box is below. Everything seems to work fine although I did have an engine warning light appear the first few times I tried to start the vehicle. Can anyone tell me what it is for, and if it should be connected to something?! I tried searching for wiring diagrams but struggled to find the right one.

It is an orange wire with a silver stripe and feeds into the bottom left or top right (depending which way up your looking at it) spot on the grey plug.

Code for the box is:

YMC 106280
10AS - 433MHZ
52010499D
1349201
50/03

Everywhere is closed for Christmas and I am about to driver from Scotland to London and don't want to get immobilised or something at a services in the middle of nowhere!

Thanks

The Orange/Slate wire on terminal 26 of the 10AS Alarm ECU Grey connector is the Antenna wire.
