Defender wheels......

Here goes I've got a 90 with 2 inch lift and a set of 235 85 r16 white steel rims. The wheels look a bit skinny.....but I don't have cash to splash. I'm going to paint them black. I've heard that if I put a 30mm offset this would make the wheel s look better???? Any advice please, what to do, what bit of kit is needed Tec. Cheers.

Positive offset makes the wheels sit further into the arch, negative offset makes the wheel stick out further....
simple fix = fit spacers

it wont stop them looking skinny, all it will do is move the skinny wheels further out, making it wider and skinny rather than just skinny.
