Defender td5

Hey folks I have a 2002 90 td5. It was laking turbo so I took of my egr valve and blanked that of and there was no difference. Then I unplugged air reader on my air filter. And it goes really well. Like it should. So my Q is cos iv took my egr valve off is that why my air intake reader is not working. And is it ok to keep it unplugged. HELP please.

Air flow metre is what I unplugged.

it means your air flow meter isnt working and the ecu is using a default setting to run the car, it should run even better with a new air flow meter

Cheers johnlad would it be ok to keep it unplugged till I get new air flow metre. Or should I just keep it plugged in. And put up with the lack of power. Thanks again

If it runs and you can make do until the new meter arrives then I dont see any reason why it shouldn't
