i purchased a s/s mid pipe replacement pipe from paddock and went to put it on and it didnt have a flush fit on the cat pipe when i looked at the new mid pipe and the existing mid box the pipes are different size. the existing mid box pipe i/d is 61mm and the new pipe is 57mm and the outer flange dia old is 72mm and new is 68mm.
its a 2000 td5 defender .
can anyone help. is my existing system an unusual size? is it a problem trying to put s/s mid section onto an existing system?
