Hi, all.
I'm new to all the forum malarkey so please be patient!
My 2004 Defender ever since I bought it back in March occasionally has what I can only describe as a "brain fart"!
It will start fine but get 100 yards down the road and it coughs and splutters for a few seconds and the engine management light comes on then it goes off and all is well.
But it's been getting worse ever since . I've replaced the temperature sender unit and checked the wiring and all was good...... for a while.
When I wiggle the main relay under the drivers seat I can hear something arc then it will start, but not all the time. My question is. Would the main relay cause this annoying issue?
I've had it plugged in to a diagnostic machine and it came back with nothing.
Help!
