Hello, this is my first real post on this forum, I have a 1999 TD5 which starts hunting at low revs when I am neither accelerating or decelerating, just feathering the throttle when moving slow in traffic. This problem then causes my foot to bounce on the accelerator peddle exaggerating the problem. Could anybody help suggest what may be causing this.
Many thanks

Could look to see if you fuel filter needs cleaning. I went all round the houses with a similar problem - checking the MAF, changing the injector loom etc. before finding that all I needed was a new fuel filter. Might be worth a try if old and if not that at least you are part way through a service.

Many thanks for your response, I have changed the filter just inside the rear wheel arch but will have a look to check if there are any other filters in the fuel system thank you for contacting me and your help.
