Hi my name is Rhidian, this is my first thread
I was wondering if anyone had bought some tidy front seats for their defender? I've got 3 seats in the front and I'd like to keep it that way. But I'd like some comfier seats really.
I've found these on eBay, are they cheap because they're rubbish? Or are they half decent? Any suggestions on similar sorts of seats? All others that are this style seem to be expensive.

Any information gratefully received. Thanks.

Just fitted them to my 90, i have a cubby box, the seats are quite wide in the truck but very comfortable and look awesome. I've been looking for a while but a lot of seats are narrow and it's hard to fit on your seat boxes but you get the plate to bolt them onto. Id recommend you check them out.

Looks like it might be difficult accessing the battery and the ECU compartment because those plates seem like they would cover the whole lot. It depends how confident you are that you wouldn't need a jump start or to mend a fuse. They wouldn't be impossible to get at but you'd have to unbolt the seats and adapter plates presumably.

Ive got buckets in mine, yes you do have to remove the seat to get in there but its only 4 bolts.

I fitted an anderson connector to the battery sidr solved the jump issue. Could relocate the fusebox if you want but in 3 years of owning mine none of those fuses have ever blown.

Is it the seats themselves that are the problem, or is it a case of the inner foam breaking up and going lumpy/hard? I fixed the original seats in my 90 and there was a big improvement. If the outer fabric is in good condition you'll only need the replacement foam. Plus with replacement 'ordinary car' seats, you have issues accessing the battery compartment.
