Hi all,
Just brought a pair of side Windows that came off a 2007 defender.
I am lead to believe that I can just bond them straight into my landrover with some bonding adhesive.

Has anybody got any suggestions as to a good adhesive for this job.

Also any tips appreciated.

Many thanks

Been asked more than few times before,

That said and done,

You need to be more specific,

what year are they being attached to ?

Are they sliding or fixed windows ?

Also in use with bonding adhesive, I'd use a rivet gun, just for some extra peace in mind.

It's all sorted spoke to a landrover technician, should have asked him in the first place.
Many thanks

Sorry about the spelling mistook...lol get a life.

geeze, chill ffs,
whats up, not getting enough?
Not everyone is on here everyday, you only left it just over 24hrs.

Now you have firmly endeared yourself with the community, I wouldn't expect hep to be forthcoming very quickly in the future.

I for one, read your post, didnt know the answer, so didn't reply...

This forum is better than most, used to own a Peugeot 206, took over a week to get a response,

This stuff takes time, if you need an instant response, then yes, ask a LR tec directly,

Also as other "new" members have found, if you get shirty with others, its only "banter", its light hearted.

Hope you get a faster response next time.

I'd be interested to see the results of bonding a window on/in.
Personally, I'd want to reinforce the panel with a riveted section after carefully cutting the hole.
Can you post a photo?
