defender push-button doors rod layout

i changed the door latch on my defender the other day,ever since then,pull the internal handle and the door locks itself,its a right pita,i either have a faulty latch or a rod in the wrong place which i think would be hard to get wrong,would anyone have a pic of the rod set up?

Sounds like the latch, mine did that right before the MOT and got an advisory for it, changed it the next weekend and all fine.
