defender puma engine

anyone had experience with the engine,any good etc

we had a hole lot of trouble with the exhaust fumes coming back in to the cabins and the oil pumps were not the greatest, we had a hired fleet of 40 2007 ford transits for the utalities game. it was more down to the drivers who let the vans idle the whole time that caused a lot of problems,2 even caught alight from oil dripping on the exhaust,the local ford dealership was well aware and are waiting a factory repair/modification as per the fleet mngr. so if you can wait a while untill they get a better solution,stick with the td5 or 300tdi.
