Yeah they'll be fine for now mate. But when you paint it, I'd take them back off and paint the back of the hinges too.

And al have ago at slackening the bolts to the tub n see if i can pull it into line so its more a less lined up, is this the best thing to do? Undo nuts n bolts on side pieces that fasten to tub?

You've nothing to loose in trying. Don't forget the ones in the middle.
As I mentioned earlier in the thread, if you're going to try and lift front of tub I'd stick a jack and block of wood under to do so.
Not so sure it'll move though to be honest, as everything else is tight.
But for how long it'll take, it's worth a go.

Would it make any difference do you think if i loosened underneath bolts too?

I can't remember exactly what's been said in the thread, but I thought you said the front of the tub needs to go up.
In which case you need to loosen underneath bolts at front of the tub. Doing rears isn't going to do much.

Put hinges on its made a bit of difference passenger side dont look too bad now but drivers side still miles out. I am going to try and loosen a few things off where tub fastens to seatbox and jack it up a bit on a block of wood as you sugested arron.

Just put these pics on for you to look at arron, looks like it needs to go down loads on all 4 corners but cant because there is only so much thread on each stud in each corner if this makes sense? Beggining to think these are wrong now?
