Why is it I never hear of peep's complaining about trying to keep warm whilst driving anything other than a Series, a 90/110 or a Defender....?..:D

Because they're not old enough to remember / use other 1950s designs.

I've built a partition between driver and van body on my 110, fixed behind the driver, removable behind the passenger. The body and cab were given the big rubber floor mat, flashing tape, eva foam routine to cut noise, but it also keeps in heat.
The heater was cleaned, both inside and out, and added new seals.
Now the cab can be quite warm.

Monday, I take the dash apart to repair the wiper mechanism , I'll add more sound / heat insulation while I'm in there.

Pls take some pics of the dash apart.
One day I will do my wiper boxes as they have more slack than a prick in a bucket!

because they are the only cars of that vintage still being driven in cold weather rather than used exclusively as summers day fine weather show cars.
Hmmm, not so sure. My brothers '71 Mk 1 Essie get's toastie inside. Personally I think its the **** heater they are fitted with, and the leaky doors, floor......

The blender flap inside the box has a crap foam seal, you need to replace it. I sealed my blender flap completley, I doesnt have the option to run the heater cold but who even does that anyway?
