Hi need help, I have a 1990, 200tdi, 110, LHD.
I have done I think all the checks and I am coming to the concussion that my front axle might be bent.
Wheel bearings replaced, replaced bushes, Replaced track rod ends. straighten steering bar. Tracking checked.
However my front wheel at the bottom tows out I think is the term. The bottom of the wheel sticks out more than at the top of the wheel. 1.13 degree on one side and 1.degree the other side.
Which result in the front tyres wearing more on the inside like they would if the tracking was out.
Am I right in thinking that there is no difference between a 110 and a 90 front axle or between a LHD or RHD.
My other concern is how do you know if the axle you are buying is also not bent.
I was thinking of going for a Sailsbury type in the hope that there would be less chance of them being bent. They seem to be double the cost but hopefully it should be something that you fit only once.
Also any recomendations who might do a good job. I live in France but would go over to the UK to get it done like I recently did to get a rear cross member done.
What are your thoughts guys.
