Defender door swop

Hi all

Can anyone advise whether I can replace my old rotten lift up handle doors with the newer push button type, are they a direct bolt on replacement

Allegedly yes, but have you seen the price of em. Compared to the price of new door skins and a bit of welding on the frames.

if you replace the doors yes... you cant fit lift up handles to push button doors! you will need a new striker, but these are an easy fit.

get new hinges and bolts too, you wont regret it!

i think he means the whole door, dont think he means the lift up handle is rotten

Them rotten handles are a pian mind... slip right through the fingers!
