defender door skins

Hi just wondering if anyones ever put new door skins onto defender doors? Are they bad to do? My doors are really dented but frames good.
Also want to put new wing panels onto the tub side but I'm not sure how to re attach them after I've drilled all the old spot welds out as I don't have a tig spot welder. Any ideas anyone please? was going to straighten and fill them but it wants to be right really
