dunno 2007 was first time they'd remodelled the defender you'd need to ask someone like L. R. Series - specialists in land rover, land rover series and range rover - gearbox, axle, transmission parts, spares and major units

should be the same have had 56 plate and had 1 loaner 09 plate fender and also have a 87 90 as well and they are all the same .
the only re-modeling done to um post 07 is machanical and dash/heater

oh and the vents under windscreen have gone too (because of dash etc)
