Hello from South West France , I have a defender 90 TD5 1999, the chassis needs replacement, MOT due next month, I am looking to get it changed but have No idea of anyone that could do it, professional company needed, does anyone know of someone or a company that could do this work, if not the old girl will be stripped and sold as spares or scrapped, I would prefer to keep this old girl going, I expect I will do it it up to new standard as well, But if not possible I will have to buy a Range Rover instead, I expect a RR is on the cards but don't want to let the TD5 go to heaven just yet.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend a company in France who can do the work. But there are quite a few in the UK if you’re prepared to travel. But I’d urge not to scrap your Landy due to a chassis which can be swapped. There are
Andy garages in France, albeit fewer are further apart, who will likely to the job.
