Defender bits

Just about to start building up/restoring an old Defender I purchased for not a lot of money. I believe it was just used as a work horse around the farm. This is going to be pretty much a full rebuild using used or refurbished parts. The intention is to have something up and running for my little ones to learn to drive in. I intend recording the full rebuild and noting the exact costing to encourage others to do the same.

What bits do you have for sale that may be useful, originally it was a 200TDI but has been converted to a 300TDI (I think!). I'm therefore going the 300TDI/TD5 route.

Got 2 complete Axles front and rear in good nick, got some props shafts, sure one is of a 300, pair of front radious arms and some other bits and bobs.

Its buggered, rather it's missing along with the Rad and Intercooler. Having serious second thoughts as the bulkhead, well I say bulkhead I wiould be more accurate to describe it as flakes of steel!!!!

I should be concentrating on my daily driver but I'm like a kid in a Sweetie shop, I just enjoy breaking things My littleone has his junior overalls on every night with his miniature socket set, he doesn't use mind rather he spends most of his time sticking his hands in oil or general dirt and then making himself dirty!!!

If you're going for a full rebuild just strip it down, asses the situation and see what's needed mate.
Theirs no point going and buying parts willy nilly, they cost enough as it is just buying what you need.
For sure you're going to need a rad intercooler pack and a heater, or make that 2 heaters

Got a 300tdi bulk head really clean flaps are good small hole in lower section nothing bad £350 I'm in Essex
