Im after a set of alloys for my defender, probably something from a
disco or something - (Not too expensive). Kind of an apology to her for
putting her on her roof ;)

Will they fit straight onto a defender with drums on the rear?

No, you need to do a bit of grinding and the caps won't fit.

You can get an alloy to go straight on, it's called the 'Firestyle' and is a
copy of the LR Freestyle alloy but modified to fit a Defender. Had some on
my old 1989 V8 90.

We've got some on our 'vehicle' too. Cannot tell the difference from
the real Freestyle. With the right spacers you can fit them to Series
axles as well.

I got ours from Nene Valley.

Like grind the old axle off and fit one with disks on the rear, you know it
makes sense ;-)
