Defender 90 Wipers

Hello,

My wiper blades on my 1995 defender 90 are useless, i've always thought they didn't cover enough of my windscreen. anyone recommend where to get new ones? or whether i should get a bigger inch.

Bosch ones are slightly longer. You might want to check for play in the wiper boxes as well as that can stop them from doing a full sweep

I thought they were suppose to be ****e and that was part of the charm of being a 90 owner !!!!!

I got so annoyed with my old wipers that I bought the SilBlade wiper blades from Mudstuff. They are annoyingly expensive but I have been very pleased with them. I dont think they are any longer but they actually wipe the windscreen unlike my old ones which were useless and just smeared everything across my view.

rainx works well, doesn't fix the crappy coverage though

Crappy coverage will be down to worn spindles, you can do like I did and use a thin bit of tin to pack it a bit or better just replace for new...

Ah man, so it's not meant to be so bad? Have you just added another job to my list? You utter .... :hurt:

Just purchased some of the SilBlades... OUCH! :screaming_bug_eye_f

But! If they last for years and make it now possible to drive i the rain then I can kind of reason it...

Now just need to stop that leak onto my right foot when it pours... :confused2:

Oh an just purchased the Silblades, got great reviews online

My silblades have broke and they have only been on my landy 11 months !! . ( drivers side )
