Someone at LR forgot it rains a lot here!

I used seam sealer to seal it all up and at least stop it running down the door frame and rot it out. I would rather have a pool of water sit there and than a stream of water down my door frame.

When I open it if it's full I just swing it hard and stop it quickly and all the water flys out, driving about and going over pot holes soon empties it too.

I keep meaning to modify it, I was thinking of putting in a drain pipe for it, but I want to make sure that I am not just drilling a hole that will end up a rust trap.

I am taking my door off soon and sorting it all out before being painted so if I come up with something I will document it and share it on here.

Someone on here recently said they drilled the bottom plate fitted a rivnut and ran a pipe from the rivnut down through the door frame.
