My beloved Defender 90 300tdi was nicked from outisde my house on Tuesday night.
It was found a mere 5 miles from my house later that day, on a farm track with it's wheels off and part stripped and it had been really abused off road. They had removed the drivers seat and tried to remove the fuel pipe from the top of the tank to set it on fire!!
The plastic gear knob had been taken (not sure why) as had the cheap CD player it had fitted.
A local farmer found it, but before calling the police, he moved my old Landie using his JCB!! Now it's knackered.
It's now been written off.
I'm very angry, Fu(£_^g theiving pikey bas&^$ds, !!!
My advice to any Landie owner is buy a clutch claw, heavy duty steering lock, alarm/immobiliser and a pitbull terrier to keep in your Landie over night.
