Afternoon Guys,

Thought I was being clever when I bought a 3.5L Mazda engine converted 1990 Defender 90 as the torque is incredible.

However, the noise is getting to me. Its constant and very loud so am looking to sound proof as in the front as much as possible.

Has anyone done anything like this before? What are the best places to sound proof, best materials and are there any kits available?

Many thanks
James (Slowly going deaf :) )

i've known people who have spent many £100s trying to do what you want - and none of them have thought it was money well spent

could fit a open bore exhaust, least you might actually like the sound it makes

ah've found out that the best materials to use r cotton wool dipped in hot wax.....burns the **** outta yr ears, but once it cools, fits yer ear perfectly.
