Hi all, I have experienced a new problem on my land rover 90 started from yesterday.. I was parking my land rover and suddenly when i was maneuvering between 1st and reverse to park i heard a metal clunk noise coming from the front (I'm not sure from which side) but surely came from the front..This morning I was driving normally on a good road doing about 40/50km/h with 4th gear engaged suddenly a metal clunk noise has appeared from the front.. Its like click..click..click..click..click constant and light not to much hard, its like something loose or a metal hammering on another metal, but pretty weird when i press the clutch pedal fully to the floor the noise stops (when the wheels are rolling)..If i release the clutch pedal again the noise starts.. But very confused the noise isn't frequent... sometime I hear it and sometimes i don't.. Sometimes I hear a medium sound clank when I drive off on 1st gear at high rev I hear like a clunk from the front. But the main problem is when I'm driving i hear this noise from the front.. I have changed the rear A-frame ball joint recently and nothing more.. as I said the noise is coming from the front.. What it can be? A friend told me it can be from the Prop Uj's, I got underneath the landy today and i tried to inspect the ujs for play but I couldn't see any play on the ujs and i don't have any vibrations at all when I'm driving.. maybe im not doing a right inspection? could be the noise I'm indicating is from the prop ujs?
Thanks for reading my problem guys.. Would appriciate any suggestions..
