Defender 90 Engine

Hi guys, got a 2.5 Normally Aspirated engine (or elastic band) as I think Landrover called it, that has developed an overheating problem, I have had enuf of its slow approach to life am watching several used 200 300 and even a 2.4 td VM unit.

Any ideas how difficult the VM unit is to fit to my G plated 90 ?
I know roughly whats involved in the tdis but have not seen one for the VMs, any reason that anyone knows of ??

Jeez not the VM it was designed by an Italian FFS The Yanks put in J**P Cherry's they are diabolically ****e.

your best bet would be a 200tdi, it will fit strait in if you get a defender one or will need a conversion kit if it is a discovery one

I'll avoid the VM then, would explian y nobody has bid on it !!
