Hi all
I cant find a definitive answer on the forum, so here we go.
I have problem with my 90s brakes, I have changed the rear callipers, and still have a soft brake pedal every 4 or 5 presses, so, I've just changed the master cylinder, bled all calipers, twice, The pedal is even better now, but it still goes soft every 4 or 5 presses.
What am I missing, I've used a eezibleed twice, the rear discs are worn and could do with changing but I can't understand why the pedal goes further every 4or 5 times ?.
Oh and There new pads all around.
What's the answer ?
Regards to you all
Ray

i read something recently on the forum about changing something in the vacuum pump or servo to improve the brakes. I cant remember exactly but hopefully someone else comes along and does remember

Don't know how old/new your fender is. Is it a standard brake set up or does it have ABS? Have you checked for loose wheel bearings / warped disks (they could be pushing the pads / pistons back in the calliper so some effort is being wasted pushing them back out before they bite).

I had a problem like this with my disco when I fitted the new callipers upside down:eek::eek::)

I have no fluid lost ?

That doesn't necessarily rule it out, in fact it's quite possible you are losing such a small amount of fluid that you barely notice that it's gone. The problem your describing suggests that there is air in your system, if your bleeding it and it then once again returns, this would imply it is entering the system between the servo and the calliper. Personally, I would start at the very beginning and trace your way forward.

Good luck mate :)
