defender 90 b reg fault

on my defender 90 v8 3.9 i have a issue as were by is i have it running or ignition two and i turn the heater blower on the fuel gague goes up and when i turn blower off it goes back down ahs anyone ahd this fault and would you be bael to point me in the right direction thanks

sounds like a voltage related issues. Check the alternator output voltage - should be around 14.2 volts at a high tickover.

Failing that, take the console outta the dash and look for wires, and check all the earths are good.

boydy's right. Bad earth on the blower would be my bet.
