Hello all, I have a 2011 110 and am looking to buy both axles and transferbox to overhaul and fit to my 110, I have managed to get a good deal on both axles, transferbox, gearbox and all suspension arms off a 2008 90, will these all be compatible for mine? Thanks guys

It doesn't need them but it's done 150k miles and I want to go through the vehicle and rebuild as much as I can to make it more reliable.
I'm planning to build a house in 6 months so won't have time for repairs at that point

Axle's and transferbox are generaly very reliable. Most axle repairs do not take long.
I would be looking more at making sure all fluid serviceing is up to date.
Do you know the history of the 110 like last filters change, brake pad/disc's change, cambelt change, clutch change, UJ's ? All more likely to give problems
How much fewer miles on 90 axles?

I don't have a detailed service history for the car, it's ex utilites so has had a very hard life, I want to do the axles myself as I'm an engineer and fancy getting more hands on with the vehicle, the 90 had 62k miles but I'm only going to use the axles till I refurbish mine and stick them back on

I would argue that as long as it has been maintained on schedule 150k is not that high a Mileage for the axles. Mine have done 300k and other than wheel bearings, drive members and front swivels (which rust) the rest is all original. Shafts and diffs are original. Sounds like a lot of expense and effort for something that will not make any differance. Unless there is lots of backlash in the diff just do wheel bearing and drive members of your current ones

Utility are well maintained. & serviced regularly.
The only downside these can be sat ticking over between jobs/winching/PTO use
I would not worry & just replace parts as they go.
