Defender 90 and 110 parts interchangeable

Just wondering if most parts for defenders are interchangeable.

I've been checking some sites and they seem to imply that things like shock-absorbers aren't etc.

Another doesn't even differentiate between the two types and just has it listed as 'defender'

Anyone got the knowledge on this?

Springs certainly aren't the same as each spring location uses a different spring (they are colour coded with painted stripes) not sure about shocks they may well be the same.

apart from suspension , and body, fuel tanks, exhausts. most things fit, internal, engines, electricals, doors windows, gear boxs etc ~(early models)

I think the brakes differ as well
