Its about -6 here and my landy will not strat, the battery is fine but it just wont crank over.

Do you think this is bieng causede by the cold weather? If so, how can I unfreeze!!

Regards

Jon

Check the hoses to see if they are frozen

If they are the best way I have found is to bit a fan heater in the engine bay but make sure it wont get wet and go bang.

Only other way I can think if you cant do that is dissconnect your hoses and pour hot water everywhere you can

minus 6 shouldn't be a problem if you've got antifreeze in it. How do you know the battery's ok? Most likely the cold has dulled an already tired batery.

Dodgy starter / solanoid?

if the battery is flat you should get the lights dimming (a lot) if the starter is kicking in - will also do the same if the engine is seized solid as there will be a huge current draw........
