Hello everyone.

I am working on my Defender 130 and I am looking at putting on a 40mm lift kit from Britpart DA4287C. My 130 carries double springs at the back but the kit only gives you a single spring for each side. Does anyone know if this will work for a 130? or will it effect the suspenion at all? (The vehicle will not be used for putting anything heavy into the back of it).

I have used the same kit on all of my defender 110 and it works great but I have never tried using it on a defender 130.

Thanks,

great apart from its britpart and it will **** the bed the moment you show it anything remotely hard.

lol I have used this kit four times and it has worked great for me but then again I have never done any major offroading yet so I will see how it holds up.

What kit would you use? I use Britpart as I get big discounts.

Ahhh, the good old "Is britpart worth it" argument.

This is a debate that has been going on for ages to be honest, some have bad experiences with them others don't.

I have had bad experiences with them so personally i dont want anything they make near my vehicle. Wherever possible.

What would i use?

Well i have an old man emu 2" lift kit. But, thats not as cheap as a britpart.

Maybe look into the de carbon shocks, there not as expensive as OME but they have been around for a long time and ive heard there reliable.
