Hi, somewhat new to this kind of noticeboard thing but hope that someone out there can improve my so far miserable day.
110 Defender 1995 fuel tank started leaking. Usual procedure for me would be to ring Paddock motors, get the bits on order and simply swop them over;.... but times are tough and someone suggested ebay and I have been on the computer for an hour or more looking around.
I really like the idea of a plastic tank in durability terms and there is a TD5 one for sale; reading other related posts I see that minor issues like pumps are different, but has any one out there ever tried to fit the TD5 tank to an older vehicle and what else is different?? Any feedback appreciated.
