Good afternoon all - advice please on 2 topics :) :) :)
Vehicle: 1987 Defender 110 SW, rear salisbury axle on drums + spacers to run Deep dish alloys, currently running Terrafirma big bores standard height + Britpart yellow HD springs

1. I want to install front anti roll bars:
I know I need to weld brackets on chassis as well as axle. My specialist can do this. Fine
AND I also want to install a heavy duty track rod guard (see visual on eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace)
And i am installing twin shocks at the front!

Question: Does any of you know if the track rod guard will interfer or foul the front anti roll bars

2. I want to install twin rear shocks
I am told that on the brackets may make the second shock interfere with the wheel and spacers are needed. As I have spacers already installed to allow using more modern wheels- will that be a problem?

3. Shocks set up
Vehicle has front / rear Terrafirma big bores standard height + Britpart yellow HD springs + Polybushes all around (excl. the shocks as big bores have non-standard bush size). The vehicle still rolls excessively when driving on road...unacceptable. I am told Britpart springs are not good quality...so which standard Height HD spring I should go for - i need a firm road drive...

As usual - any help gratefully received.

Thanks all!

the front arb should not have any prob with front steering guard , if you are fitting standard arb .
It might be an idea to put standard 130 dual springs on rear to stiffen up the rear . s/abs will stop bounce and will have a lesser effect on body roll , fitting rear arb will help quite a bit . My 110csw rolls quite a bit but the axle staying in contact with road is the important bit , and the roll is a trade off with ride quality which is excellent on road , and suited to fast travel on bush tracks (inc corrugations) . That's great in fact i am installing dual shocks on the rear axle - adding 2 x Def 130 HD shocks to the already installed Terrafirma Big Bore. Currently with Britpart HD yellow springs, which i am not happy with, but will try and see the overall ride. Thanks lot for responding!
