Has any body thought about the tyres? Different tread patterns can cause problems with steering and braking. If you have different treads on the front tyres then try to get a matched pair on the front and see if that improves it.

Has the vehicle ever been in a crash/heavy impact/hard off road abuse etc

Barring tyres, your brakes seem good.

Is the chassis/ suspension components all true and straight or is something bent/damaged?

I always have been the only that used this car, always used quietly on road and in light off-road. Never accidents (fortunately) never hits, anything suspicious:wtf:

The car is in very good condition and every part is original.

I made a suggestion. The OP didn't comment. Rather than type it again, I wanted to make the point that if he doesn't consider all the replies to his question then he won't get offered much help in the future.

So to answer your questions. No, I'm not kidding, and my location is still Dorking.

If you want to make personal attacks it would be better to do it in the Anything Goes section.

Look at the rear suspension bushes etc. similar problem on mine a while ago, easily fixed, as one of the 27mm? nuts on the rear links had not been tightened after doing some work. wound it up about 3 turns, brakes straight now!
