after my clutch fork went the weekend i have been advised that while the gearbox is out to put a new clutch in aswell while its in bits
the landy garage has asked me to seriously consider that i dont do this as its a 2.5td ..but its only got 160k on the clock and it runs as sweet as a nut..he recommends that i should go for the 2ootdi conversion and not thro any more money at the 2.5 ive just put new water pump and rad on it and had it serviced friday..
trouble is it all comes down to the wonga..what is a replacement clutch fitted gonna cost me?
and what will a 200 tdi conversion cost me?..ive seen what looks like a nice complete 200tdi will all pumps rad and intercooler etc for £450 i then need the conversion pipes £170 whats it likely to cost me to get it fitted?
one garage has quoted me £1500 to supply and fit an engine but trouble is i dont have £1500
any help or idea of cost or what others would do in this situation would be good.
at the end of the day it is my play thing and i love it to bits but where do you draw the line on what you spend on it
