2004 V6 diesel in my preferred colour and interior

2007 V8 diesel in my preferred colour and engine

Both good history, similar miles V6 new tyres, V6 less monthly tax, V8 is newer engine
 
Both have their fare share of issues.

The TDV8 would get my vote as it's very grunty.

But EGR's and coolers fail - Headgaskets can give trouble post 100k and tbh 22mpg isn't brilliant oh and watch the turbos they go through em like smarties.

TDV6 Cranks can snap, oil pumps fail - Turbos go up the ****ter.

etc
I'd buy the V8 petrol IMHO.
