I am seeking advice on LR diesel engine noise levels. I have the Autocar levels for the RR DSE and wonder if anyone can assist with the Autocar sound levels for the D1 tdi, D2 TD5 and the D3 TDV6? And maybe even the L322 TD6?
Subjectively for noise, best to worst, I rank them: TDV6, TD6, tdi, TD5. For smoothness I rank them: TDV6, TD6, TD5, tdi. Unfortunately I have never seen or heard, far less driven, a DSE (I am in Central Australia).
