Dead

Help, after trying to jump start my 2011 fl2 hse sd4 auto, I heard a click the everything died, after a while, with keys out, the dash lights up and "E" shows on a dial. It is stuck in park, won't start. Have fully recharged the battery and now resembles a 4 wheel brick, all help appreciated before I have to apply for a second mortgage to diagnose it.

I would get the starter looked at, the E is most likely a problem on the CAN bus...
probably some bad connections: either on the bus itself or on the power distribution, it will need diagnostic to be sure.
