The electrics on our 2012 Puma failed whilst off road. No ignition lights just dim side lights. Cannot start engine so had to be towed carefully home.
Help!

Have you checked the basics? Fuses & relays? I would also want to check all key connectors and that they have not come loose. I had one that just worked its way loose over time. Blew the dust out and connected it - all fine :) I am no expert but that would be a good starting point. Also this threat will probably be moved into the technical section.

Have you checked the battery leads are secure, and checked the voltage in the battery? (located under the passenger seat). If you need to disconnect the battery make SURE you follow the disconnect procedure to the letter, and re-synchronise the key fobs after reconnecting. Otherwise it will not start. (Info is in the owners handbook).

That is useful to know! I have done a change with no reference at all to said handbook! :(
