Had a flat battery in my ‘88 90. Charged it up and put it back in. Instruments worked fine for the first minute now they’re dead and I have no indicators, side lights or brakes. Fuse seems ok.
Anything else it could be?

Check the battery isn't dead and that connections including earth are good.

A lot depends how long the battery was flat for. Although it apparently charged up, it may not be able to keep a charge. Did you try to start the engine?

Yeah I drove it for about 15 minutes. Where would the earth points be?

Can't remember exactly offhand, but they're generally braided 'open' cables going beteween motor and gearbox and chassis and the battery earth cable.

As you started it and ran for a short while I'd now look more to the state of the battery and also the alternator as actually starting suggests the earths are good or at least acceptable. You say the instruments stopped after a minute, but you ran it for 15 minutes, explain? or did you run it without instruments. Ticking over? or drove it round?

How long was the battery flat for before you recharged it and how long did you charge it for? What size battery and amp ratings, and what amp for the battery charger?

I drove it for 15 minutes and everything was fine except this circuit. It was sat for a week and a half before I checked and noticed it was flat. Then charged it up a few days later. Just seems odd that it’s just this one circuit that’s affected

Okay so renewed a fuse (wasn’t blown) and opened up where the hazard switch is and gave it a blow. Now the hazards don’t work, the indicators work. Sidelights on the front don’t won’t and the fuel gauge is back working...
