apart from my normal armada of tools and torque wrenches etc what do I need to do a de-coke?

ie valve stem pliers etc?

Valve spring compressor and something to keep all the valves/ springs etc in order, a piece of cardboard with 8 holes will do.

DLS tend to sell a lot of Britpart parts I would check before buying , Best get a Payen gasket not sure on spelling.

ATF down the carb! Or seafoam or redex. Spray a bit in combustion chambers when warm. This will do half a job without remving anything bar the plugs and air filter elbow.

If you replace valve guides try and avoid Britpart. I fitted their diesel exhoust valve guides around a year ago and had to ream every one of them to size.
