Evening,

Just a quicky regarding the dials on my dashboard. The fuel and temperature gauges don't illuminate when the lights are on, so I would like to know how easy it is to get behind them. Does each dial "pop" out individually, or is the whole thing one injection moulded component?

Thanks in advance for any help

They all come out individually thats on my 94 LR 90
but be careful when you take the whole unit off
I broke my speedo cable when I put the unit back
how I dont know must have pulled or pushed it
bit to much ..........

yer if your wires are dodgy then it could spell disaster! take it off slowely and try to support it when your working on it, dont let it hang down as it will pull on the wires. its like a minefield back there!

 No! Undo the whole panel from the dashboard both sides top & Bottom then ease the whole panel out. Behind there you will see the n shaped bracket that holds the individual gauges in place which is held by one nut undo this nut, unplug zee wires and pull out zee bulb (try to remember which one goes where) shouldn't be too hard if you only remove one gauge as 1 wire is internal one is external and the bulb has, well, a bulb on the end, and the other that is a black ring crimp goes over the n shape bracket studding as youll see. then it wil practicaly fall out in your lap :D . But if your only checking the bulb then just unplug the bulb part (black with bulb on the end)

Cheers BigMark! I will have a go sometime over the weekend. Im hoping it's just the bulb

thanks again
