I am restoring a 85 Defender 110 using a newer style main wiring loom, YMC000470. I have also gotten the newer style gauge wiring harness, YMG109260, to run the electronic gauge pack. My questions is...Does anybody have the part number for the wiring loom that connects to the two plugs, one gray and one green, behind the gauge pack and goes to the center switch stack like on the Td5? Thanks

The two connectors are a gray, with 11 wires, and a green , with 10 wires. The gray plug has 26 slots and the green has 12 slots. ( I have a picture but couldn't figure out how to post it here)

Sorry Mike - those part numbers are not listed in my defender parts lists - am presuming they are off a TD5?

Hopefully someone with a newer Landy will be able to help

Those two connectors sound like the ones that plug in to the 10AS Alarm/Central Locking ECU -

As for posting pictures, there are two ways -

1. Host the pictures on the web (I use Photobucket) and use the option to link to them, as I've done with the two above.

2. Use the 'Manage Attachments' option to upload the picture from your computer and create an attachment to your post.

Paul, You the man! That is indeed what they are. Will I have a problem if nothing gets connected to it?

With the exception of the TD5 engine (which has an immobilisation link between it's engine ECU and the 10AS), I'm pretty sure you can leave them unconnected.
