Hi hope can get help to resurrect my l322 range rover . The dash has failed garage has identified power to the dash but no activity . After a cold 4 nights on the drive car would not start . Rev counter and speedo Dash normally starts up with a sunrise screen . This time and since just a black screen . Garage say new dash is 2k plus vat but on back order and no availability date so part may be obsolete. Another reputable garage say part is £5195 plus vat but can’t advise if in stock or date for despatch ,wouldn’t order on system as part would arrive anytime if at all . Has any had success or can recommend a dash repairer . Used part no good as can’t be recoded. Have tried advertised cluster repair specialist but all have declined .

Could just be your battery is knackered, low battery voltage is a common cause of problems. After standing for 24 hours you should see a minimum of 12.6 volts.

Battery was ok only two yrs old fitted new battery . Voltage drop could have caused the problem .

RAC checked battery it was ok but at 12:3 volts , new battery fitted still no fire up . Dash has power getting to it

Have you had the dash/ instrument pack out? May be a poor connection on it, can’t say as iv never seen the back, I’d imagine Maby two or 3 plugs, at a guess, can’t say iv heard of the dashes just dying.

12.3 volts is an almost flat battery, you will get nowhere on a Range Rover with the voltage that low because glow plugs and starter motors draw a lot of power which will take the voltage down to below 10 volts at which point the ECU's will not function correctly.

The tft turns off after a while to save power, if you start the engine at this point it takes a while to boot back up.
It's getting power but is it getting signal to turn on?
