Well finally got round to a couple of the wiring issues on my 90 yesterday, the heater was well and truly bodged don't really understand how stupid some people are lol, both cuircuits 1 and 2 fan speed joined up at some point and that's maybe why it burnt a wire. I'm no wiring genius but managed to chop them and replace all wires under the bonnet correctly then chased a new wire from fuse through bulkhead to power it now that works fine I'm an happy man!
I also got rid of all the wires that had been run down the dash and through the floor and also fed them through the bulkhead.
Trucks looking much nicer inside, but now as it's coming upto my birthday I'm thinking of treating myself to a raptor dash console so I can mount the stereo and cb nicely aswell as any other switches etc.
I was wanting some advice as to how good they are?
How easy are they to fit?
Would I have to chop my original dash if I mount the CD player at top and cb below?
What things do you guys have wired upto it?
Any help would be appreciated
Cheers Dan

Just installed mine. They are very high quality and look great. Follow the cutout template to the letter and ensure you leave a small lip on the bottom cut, for the dash to notch over on.
It gets cramped behind it when installing the stereo, etc, but can be done.

Used combo of original wiring, for switched and illum points, and brought in new wiring, from new blue sea fuze box, to 12v plugs, side floods, etc.

Ran everything up through bulkhead. Stereo should go below, more space, and small cb above, at least how i did it.

Best of luck.

Cheers bud I'm just looking at another cb same as the one he has in the pic on his site as the one I have is big!
I've also ordered a new fuse box so everything I add on will be running a new wire and a seperate fuse, and like you said still use old wires for switched and illumination purpose.

My other thought is for the fuse box rather than running 20 wires around to each seperate fuse could I run a good size cable thought the bulkhead from the battery cable on the starter motor to the fuse box then run singular wires from that?
Cheers Dan

Picked up the dash today but the instructions say to bolt on through the ashtray but my ashtray is underneath, any ideas lol? Would self tappers be ok from underneath or it's there a better method?
Cheers Dan
