Hi,

My rear shock dampener has movement where it's bolted at the top - at least 10mm. Does a bush fit in there that can be replaced or does the whole dampener unit need replacing.

Cheers.

Thanks James. Is it the case that you can use one or the other, or do you need to replace like for like.

Can they be replaced in situ or does the dampener need to be removed? Do you need a hydraulic press to push the bush in?

Cheers.

If they are the first ones (552819) they will just push in with the washers as they are tapered. I have some brand new flow-flex ones if you want em.

There is a washer hanging loose, so that suggests it's the first type. That's very kind james6546, but I need to order bushes for my panhard rod anyway, so I'll order these at the same time.

Sorry, I realise I will have to disconnect the top end - what I meant was do I need to take the whole dampner off and out to press in a new bush or can I just disconnect the top end of it and press a new one in situ or do you need a hydraulic press. Sorry if I'm being thick :)
