Damp footwell again .......but please read

Front passenger footwell is getting wet when it rains ,checked out pollen filter housing and it was wet ,so I cleaned it up and used loads of silicone grease on the cover of the pollen filter housing ,but it leaked again the next time it rained ,anyone got any ideas where it could be coming from .

When you say you have checked the pollen housing did you remove the plastic gutter channel that goes under the windscreen?? You may find the housing is cracked/split which would let in water that way.

Otherwise check your windscreen seals and roof seal
 
When I say housing I mean the hole where the pollen filter sits had water at the bottom ,I have not checked the plastic gulley ,will check later .

When i say housing, I mean if you remove the gulley thingymabob you will be able to check the plastic box that the filter sits inside. This maybe cracked
