I was quite pleased wiv myself after changing the O/S driveshaft and CV joint, wheel bearings on both sides, new discs, calipers and drive flanges. 
O/S is nice and quiet now, so quiet I can hear the N/S CV clanking when reversing.
New N/S CV joint and driveshaft on order.
And the saga continues....
